The Brighton Board of Trade: Celebrating 61 years of service to business in the greater Brighton community

Dear Brighton Business Colleague:

Welcome to brightonbot.com, the Brighton Board of Trade’s home on the worldwide web. Though started more than 60 years ago as a neighborhood business association, the Brighton Board of Trade has taken on a much wider scope today, joining together the local small businesses and the global education, manufacturing, and health care organizations that make our community home.

We are still very much today – as we have always been – an organization committed to supporting the businesses that support our community.

The Brighton Board of Trade sponsors youth activities, including Little League baseball and softball, the local boys and girls club and other important events and non-profit organizations.

The board promotes the vitality of our business districts by organizing and sponsoring the annual holiday lighting and semi-annual business networking receptions where local business owners can get together and promote their businesses.

The Brighton Board of Trade emphasizes giving back to the community where our businesses thrive by contributing to the activities of nonprofit agencies engaged in delivering health care and providing vocational training.

And, the board is making a real investment in the future of our business community and our neighborhood through the annual endowment of a community scholarship fund.

After sixty years of service to Brighton, the board remains true to its mission:

The board is formed for the purpose of advancing the commercial, industrial, professional, and civic interests of Brighton. Its purpose is to support a healthy business climate in which retail, commercial industrial, and non-profit interests can work together to foster a community supportive of trade.
